TCA Ep962: Dropping The Puck On The Stanley Cup Playoffs, Toronto Maple Leafs vs Tampa Bay Lightning Is The Main Event, Blue Jays Talk & More
We’re back with another Monday morning edition of the TCA podcast and Rob is back in studio with tons to get to.
Do us a solid and leave us a rating and a review there inside your podcast app. It makes a huge difference for us and just takes a second.
The boys kick things off with the usual craft beer chatter before getting in to some Jays talk. Your Toronto Blue Jays have an incredible record despite their tough start to the season but how are they getting it done with injuries to some key contributors and some big bats not yet on fire?
And then, of course, talk turns to the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The guys get in to an underrated matchup between the St Louis Blues and the Minnesota Wild, why the Edmonton Oilers have some pressure to overcome here and why the Colorado Avalanche matchup with the Nashville Predators might be a bit of a sleeper.
As we move East Matt wants to get a look at a very interesting Pittsburgh Penguins vs New York Rangers showdown while Rob isn’t sure the Carolina Hurricanes will be able to stand up to the Boston Bruins.
And then - it’s main event time as we look at the good and the bad for the Toronto Maple Leafs as they line up against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
